Disguised smiles
Paint a portrait of ecstatic fallacy
Beneath the forced expressions
Lie the darkest chasms of vulnerability
The constant need for a bleed
The velvet comfort of blinded hope
The texture of dreams
Draining effortlessly
The waking hours call for admission
The sun has demanded expedition
Do I depart on this unending train
Or let the stakes of night's reign hold me down
To gaze out the window
A sight so heavenly
The sky so inviting
The emerald hue of the grassy plains so calming
Yet the feeling of life is absent
Dreary stagnant phantoms hover overhead
They've taught me the secrets
The darkest fears the common avoid
Acceptance of deception
Live the lie or taste the fruit of death
A noose looks more enthralling
When you're colorblind to fluorescent bliss
To hear the birds and their
Deceitful ballad of misdirection
At thine request
Whilst thou play a eulogy
For these bones have withered to dust
May nature possess me in her divine embrace
Let thine roots curl and contort to lock my limbs
As the gravel and dirt begin to sink
I humbly accept the fate of her gift
Beneath thee I shall rest
Disguised smiles
Paint a portrait of ecstatic fallacy
Beneath the forced expressions
Lie the darkest chasms of vulnerability
The constant need for a bleed
The velvet comfort of blinded hope
The texture of dreams
Draining effortlessly
Every track on this album kicks ass, yes. But being one who has read all of Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy", I am in awe of the tribute that "...Depart From So Much Evil" is to it! Superb masterpiece, masterfully performed! annimax_metal

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
