The stench of death
The corpses of fallen petals
The autumn wind stirs a chill to spite the warmer days
Decay and lifeless souls meet once again
A sight so yearning and beautiful
The will whisked from color sapped tapestry
Failure draped over the stems of budding youth
Killed before they could breathe
The suffocating gasps for air
Fell silent for the only life to walk
Has been deafened by malice
The loathing ghosts have no empathy
The autumn nights
So somber and lonely
The ground littered with regret
Stumbling carelessness of dreadfulness
To peer into the eye of the cosmic deliverance
To seek the truths the mind has held back
Spiritual connection of the constellations
Now realized the destiny of mortality
As time continues its hateful game
The only peace to be found is in waiting
Waiting for the inevitable
The scythe shall reap its earnings
Another soul void of dreams
Desperately wishing for endless sleep
With no legacy, its safe to return to the cosmos
Immortalized in astral dust
The petals of autumn
Are all that be
Skeletal giants who were once their home
Empty with reprieve
For what is on the horizon
Shall cleanse the earth
Frigid winds colder than Fall's generous graze
The approaching tempest of winter haze
The frost of whimsical crystals
Consumes the wilted innocence
That used to be
The stench of death
The corpses of fallen petals
The autumn wind stirs a chill to spite the warmer days
Decay and lifeless souls meet once again
A sight so yearning and beautiful
The will whisked from color sapped tapestry
Failure draped over the stems of budding youth
Killed before they could breathe

Every track on this album kicks ass, yes. But being one who has read all of Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy", I am in awe of the tribute that "...Depart From So Much Evil" is to it! Superb masterpiece, masterfully performed! annimax_metal

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
